Museum Dance Off 5

I conceived, planned, recorded, edited, and promoted the museum's entry into the fifth annual (and final) Museum Dance Off, a global social media competition for museums of all sizes.

PEMcast

I contributed to many of the early episodes of the PEMcast, the Peabody Essex Museum's award-winning podcast, as a writer and producer. I also created transcripts for a number of episodes to make the podcast more accessible, and even joined the host in the recording studio on episode 008.1.

Piece by Piece

As part of the project team for the Peabody Essex Museum's first children's picture book publication, I consulted on the content with the author Susan Tan and illustrator Justine Wong, promoted the book through community-centered events, and developed a coordinating art activity that was included with museum shop editions of the book. Click here to learn more about the book, inspired by the museum's 18th-century Chinese House.

Illustrator Justine Wong and author Susan Tang hold up copies of their book, Piece by Piece, showing off the colorful illustrations of the story inspired by the museum's historic Chinese house.
The book cover of Piece by Piece by Susan Tan and Justine Wong: a young Asian girl in a yellow pleated dress reaches toward the doorway of a historic Chinese house. Through the door, the corner of a blue block quilt is visible.
